Personal from the Editor: As we begin a new secular year, and this Newsletter goes into its third year, I hope that you have been able to gain a little more insight into Yahweh's Word, the Scriptures, from reading the Newsletter. If you have been challenged to study deeper on your own, then its purpose has been achieved. It is not my desire to cram "my" doctrines down your throat, but rather to encourage you to study the Bible for yourself. Salvation is a personal thing. No one can acquire it for you. We must work it out for ourselves, but sometimes a little help doesn't hurt. And while I present my own understanding of what the Bible is telling us, it is your own responsibility to check it out for yourself. Even though I am willing to stake my future eternal life on what I believe, no one should blindly follow another person. Check up! Prove it for yourself! And always be ready and willing to change your position when you see you are wrong. Don't be bull-headed and stubborn, too proud to admit you were in error. Over the years, I have had to do this on several occasions. This is the way we "grow in grace and knowledge" (2 Peter 3:18). The Scriptures alone are able to make us truly "wise unto salva-tion," and able to correct us. (2 Tim 3:15-16) "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yahshua. {16} All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" I want to thank those of you who have voluntarily chosen to offer a little support, both in encouraging words, and with your substance. In this way, many can benefit from the efforts of a few. ~Frank Brown |
