How
the Annual Holy Days Portray Yahweh's Plan of Salvation:
There are seven steps in Yahweh's plan of salvation, and there are seven annual Holy Days
that picture, year by year, His plan for those who will accept it. He does not force us; it is for volunteers.
First, we must understand that He died for our sins; He became our Passover sacrifice (1 Cor. 5:7). He shed His
blood, which will save us from Yahweh's wrath, just as the blood of the lamb in ancient Egypt saved the Israelites
when the death angel passed over, killing Egypt's first-born.
Then, we must recognize that we are sinners; that is, law-breakers (1 John 3:4), who are in need of His mercy and
forgiveness. Then we must repent of those sins, accept Yahshua's sacrifice, and quit sinning (breaking His moral
law). When we do this, He will send His Holy Spirit to dwell in our minds. The Spirit helps us to keep the Commandments
with a spiritual intent, and leads us into His deeper truths. This was the message the Spirit inspired the Apostle
Peter to preach on that first Pentecost, almost 2,000 years ago.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
After we repent, we must "come out" of sin, just as the Israelites came out of Egypt. This means that
we must stop sinning; with the Spirit's help, we can.
Then we live a life of overcoming, until we die, or until Yahshua returns, when we will either be resurrected if
dead, or changed if alive, to a spirit body (1 Cor. 15). This period of time is our "judgment."
At the sound of the last trumpet, Yahshua will return to claim His own. He will marry His bride (the Assembly)
establish His Kingdom here on Earth, and rule for 1,000 years. After that, there will be a second resurrection
- of the rest of the dead - of those not in the first (Rev. 20:4-6). These people will then be made to understand
Yahweh's plan of Salvation, and will enter into a judgment period. For proof that even Sodom and Gomorrah have
not yet been finally and eternally judged, see the following Scriptures. These are Yahshua's own words:
Mat 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment,
than for that city.
Mat 11:22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
Mat 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented
at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Luke 11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them:
for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon
is here.
So we see that final judgment has not yet taken place, but will be after the second resurrection. This will give
everyone an opportunity for salvation. Many in the past, as well as now, have never had opportunity to learn the
true gospel. Billions have lived and died, never having heard the only Name by which we may be saved.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.
