The Body As A Temple

Of The Holy Spirit

When we experience the loss of a finger, a foot, or even a toe, our body goes through a major equilibrium adjustment.  This is because we were created to be in total balance.  Every part is meant to work together smoothly.  The apostle Paul makes that very clear in I Corinthians 12:24&25. 

So why do we want to lose a part or a whole organ?  Our creator put those things inside of us to protect them and to allow the body to function at its peak performance.  Why do we believe “man” when they tell us we do not “need” that organ?  We were created out of dust…we are the clay that must be molded into His will, Jeremiah 17.  If we succumb to taking parts out of our body, how can we be molded into the person that He wants us to be? 

Satan has succeeded in making us believe that it is OK, just like Eve believed that just one apple would not hurt.  Since the creation of Adam, we are still created in His image.  But wait, you say, what about retarded or deformed ones that are born that way?  Is there any mention of that in the Bible?  Yes, that is another deception from Satan.  Surely, the mother of such a baby has made a choice to allow interference with the creator’s perfect plan.

v     Genesis 3:18 “….thorns and thistles and herb of the field”  He provided us with everything we need!  Did you know that stinging nettle restores the chemical property missing that causes allergies?  Here are a few more commands and bits of wisdom:

v     Genesis 1:11, 12 & 29 “….and Yahweh said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed”  ”….and Yahweh said, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth”

v     Psalms 104:14  “…herbs for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth”

v     Proverbs 15:17 “better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith”

v     Ezekiel 47:12 “….shall know all trees for meat….and the fruit thereof shall be for meat and the leaf thereof for medicine”

v     Revelation 22:1 &2 “…its leaves are for the healing of the nations”

What about infertility?  Statistics say that one out of ten women are infertile! Again, a lack of proper food.  Satan loves to prevent those babies from continuing the Creator’s perfect plan.

v      I Timothy 2:15 “…notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety”

v     Galatians 3:13 &14 “…The Messiah has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in the Messiah, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith”

v     Galatians 3:29 “…and if you are the Messiah, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

We are a fallen people – fallen into satan’s deceptions concerning our bodies being the temple of the Holy Spirit (that abides within us).  Let us read the building of the temple in Solomon’s time, II Chronicles 3:3 to 4: 22.  Why do you think it is so explicit?  Can we correlate our bodies to that temple?  Yes, we are each the temple!  We are “fearfully and wonderfully made” and we have the Spirit that our Savior sent us (that He died so we could have, living within us).  So how can we defile our bodies?  There can be no other reason than that we have fallen into satan’s trap. I believe this causes 90% of our problems. We must rebuke satan’s stronghold on our bodies and put our trust and faith on Yahweh’s healing power in the herbs that He has provided for us, and clean lifestyles.  Bind the blood of Yahshua on our bodies so we can make the right choices about what we put in them.
