2006 Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day with us
Oct. 8-15, 2006
The
Feast will be held at the White River Baptist Youth Camp near
The meeting hall is large and has comfortable seating. It has a sound system, a pull-down screen, a piano, an organ, and a lectern. It is air conditioned and heated.
The kitchen - dining room is in a separate building, and is completely equipped with cook stoves and utensils, refrigerator-freezers, tables, chairs, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc.
You
will need to bring your own bedding and food.
Meals will be your responsibility. Pitch
- in communal meals will be served on the High Days, and the weekly Sabbath.
The price is $3.50 per day for each person, including children (except babes in arms). This is a very reasonable price, considering we have the complete use of all the facilities.
For those not wishing to stay on site, there are local motels a short distance away. Some are listed on the back, along with rates. However, the $3.50 per day is still due for use of the facilities, regardless of whether you stay on the grounds or elsewhere.
In
addition to daily Worship Services, there will be extra activities for young and
old, including Bible Studies, a
Night of Special Music, and ample free time to explore the area on your own.
Bring
bedding; sheets, blankets or quilts, pillows, etc.
Bring your Bible and study
materials.
If you play an instrument,
bring it.
If you are tenting, bring an
electric heater and a heavy duty extension cord.
Bring clothing suitable for
warm or cool weather. It may get
cold, especially at night.
It would help in our planning if you will fill out the information on the next page, and return it to us as soon as possible.
Note: Since the weekly Sabbath falls just before the High Day Sabbath, we
will need to arrive on Friday, Oct. 6 to get set up. There will be a weekly
Sabbath service on Oct. 7; the first FOT meeting will be Sat. night, Oct 7. It
will be a short introductory service.
If
you need to leave an emergency phone number with someone at home, give them my
cell phone number if you do not have one of your own. Mine is 479-518-2580.
Do not have anyone call the caretaker’s home, do not ask to use the
caretaker’s phone, and do not use the extension in the kitchen-dining room. If
you must make a call, see me.
